CREATING A BUDGET FOR YOUR NEW KITCHEN DESIGN

When creating a budget for your kitchen remodel or installation, there are several important things to consider. Whether you are looking to upgrade your space to have an area to spend time with family, you’re looking to increase the resale value of your home, or anything in between, a budget will help you stay on track and meet all of your goals. 

At LPS Kitchen Cabinets, we have years of experience creating budgets for our clients and ask that you keep a few important things in mind. You should first have a good overall idea of how you would like your project to turn out. When you understand the scope of your project, you will have a better sense of the things you will need and create a more realistic budget. 

Next, you will need to make a list of items you will require. A good resource for this is our kitchen design checklist, which lists many of the typical materials associated with a kitchen remodeling project. Based on the size of your project, you can get an idea of the numbers you will need for each item and decide where to best spend your resources. Considering materials of need versus materials that are on your “wish list” is a good way of staying within your budget.

Once you have done this, you should create a general budget and come to us to see if we can handle your project within that structure. We will let you know if that is a realistic option and can provide you with several cost cutting options if necessary. 

Our number one goal is to provide you with the kitchen of your dreams at a price you can afford. Once we have created a budget together that we are comfortable with, we will stick to that budget unless you change your mind.
